I have owned a variety of horses throughout my life. I have foxhunted in the US and
Ireland, evented, shown hunters and jumpers and enjoyed years of pleasure  riding. All of my horses have been very special to me. I first started insuring horses when I owned Rampant Lion. I evented him through training level and then turned the ride over to Wendy Lewis who took him to Rolex in 2005 and finished 10th. I quickly realized his value at training level and insured him the fall of 2001. I learned, that next spring, after shipping him home to NY from Aiken, SC ,that his coverage had been cancelled with NO phone call or letter. I immediately called a friend who contacted his insurance office and they called me right away and said the horse was insured per that phone call. It was at that time I decided I wanted to sell horse insurance and provide my clients with that prompt & personal service.
